Nearest airport: Volos or Nea Anchialos airport also known as the International Airport of Central Greece

Flights to this airport currently only operate from late March-October. It is about 23km from the villa.

By air to Athens or Thessaloniki

There is a large choice of full service and budget flights to these airports. From the UK check out BA, and Aegean, Ryanair and Easyjet as well as various charter options. Aegean, Ryanair and other airlines fly from many European cities.

The E75 motorway makes it an easy drive from both these cities and only the last 13km is on local roads. If you don't want to hire a car there are also long distance buses from the Liosion bus station in Athens or the Makedonia bus station in Thessaloniki which go to Volos or Almyros.

Skiathos airport

In summer there are numerous charter flights to the island of Skiathos so you can combine a few days on Skiathos with a holiday in Amaliapolis. There are fast sea-cat ferries (Flying Dolphins) which travel between Skiathos and Volos several times a day.
